things found scribbled on a beer soaked receipt:

"the saudi's are all like 'you can't build a mosque with more minarets than mecca!' and the ottoman's are like 'yeah, well suck it."   -evan

"he's the best boyfriend ever!" -kate, on evan purchasing satc dvds
"no....he's just swiss"  -sudha

"wait--you don't have to wear helmets. do you wear the reflective vest i gave you?"  -elizabeth, on drunk biking

other highlights: jeremy throwing a chair across the bar; the broken door in the ladies room (sketchiness abounds), an exaggerated reaction to my order of the night--a diet coke.

being sober cab was never so lovely.

last night was the kind of thursday night at the tap that just can't go without a post, even though it seems as though posting has been abandoned. for the most part, a classic TAT: leinie's red, fries, wings, and nachos; an assorted singing crew as well as a few ladies thinking "goddamn, will they stop talking about choir"; good tunes that inspired at least one person to sing into a ketchup bottle; and of course the best server to ever set 5 pitchers upon a table.

this morning in my purse i found a crumpled paper containing the following:

"the french horn is seeexy..."-kate
"...because you put your hand in it"-cara

country bar& grill lyndale and lake (saturdays)
chatterbox 23rd & 35th?? mpls (wednesday) citypages.com

jeremy let us in on the cool places to sing karaoke, and admitted he always likes to do a little whitney houston. ROCK.

i'm currently nursing my second cup of coffee. oh tap, what would i do without you?
